A very unique aspect of The Langert Commercial Group is the long and varied background of its principal and founder, Evan Langert. Mr. Langert has more than fifteen years of active commercial real estate brokerage experience. However, prior to that he also spent almost a decade as the head transactional attorney for the eastern half of the United States on behalf of a multi-billion dollar New York Stock Exchange traded public REIT. Prior to that assignment, he worked as an attorney for the founder of Federal Realty Investment Trust, as well as for a large California mall/shopping center/office property owner (Bohannon Development). He has negotiated leases with national department stores, multiple Fortune 1000 companies, and numerous household retail names. Put simply, Mr. Langert has negotiated myriad leases of all types at the highest levels. Add to that the fact that he started his career as a commercial real estate lender with one of the twenty-five largest banks in the United States, and you get a tremendous depth and breadth of experience at your disposal when you choose The Langert Commercial Group to help you with your transaction. Although Mr. Langert doesn’t take on much legal work anymore, he has been known to put his vast experience to work in that arena for our regular clients.
